Hi! I’m Sharon, the owner of Rooted Accounting & Bookkeeping. I’m based in the beautiful Methow Valley of Washington state, but serve businesses all over Washington state and even Idaho. I have 15 years of experience in Accounting, Payroll, HR and Tax. I have 2 Bachelor of Science degrees from Central Washington University - a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration. I hold the highest level of certification through QuickBooks (Advanced ProAdvisor). Small business entrepreneurship is a passion of mine. Most of us want to spend our time in life doing what we love, sharing our talents and creating a legacy. Owning a small business is an incredible way to reach those goals while earning a living. But for many, the confusing and burdensome requirements that accompany business ownership lead to stress, anxiety, and distract from revenue-generating activities. Helping small business owners navigate the complex world of business finance and reporting requirements provide me a sense of purpose and has become my “why”.

I will also offer flexible rates when necessary as I know that business profitability can ebb and flow. My goal is to create a long term relationship with you and help maximize your profitability.
